It’s been a nice break, at least a couple months since my last proper update from Maple Creative.
I’ve been in full Dad-mode, playing games and building complex structures with blocks. Each day is an adventure with a 4 year old in the house. We haven't had much snow in NY, but making the most of it when we can.
Today I have some workshop announcements all about email marketing and audience engagement.
RSVP to the upcoming events to add to your calendar, get the Zoom link, and receive a reminder when we're about to go live. These workshops take place on Tuesdays at 12pm Eastern
1/30 – Planning Your Content with an Editorial Calendar
2/6 – Selling Digital Products (and access) with ConvertKit
2/13 – How to Simplify (and automate) Audience Segmentation
2/20 – Email Automation Basics – Creating a Welcome Sequence
These workshops are for members of the community we're building here to support our care plan clients.
Please reply if you're interested in attending any of these and I'll send you the Zoom link and a calendar invite. Consider it a free trial :)
This is a good example of the direction we're going in here at Maple. The focus is less on specific website tools and on helping our clients have a greater impact.
We're taking on impactful projects – many of which are aligned with environmental justice, wildlife advocacy, and empowering social change.
Here are some examples:
If you’d like to chat about any of these, please let us know! In future workshop sessions Kevin and Lindsay will be providing live demos of their projects, how they did it.
Hey, if I'm going to send a monthly newsletter it ought to include a technical tip. There are always things to share. Let’s start with an important new year question.
Is your website footer up to date?
Is it still showing 2023, or worse… 2017?
Editing your footer is a simple task – usually takes just a couple minutes to log in and complete. If you’re using WordPress, you’ll find the footer by clicking on the “Customize” option in your Appearance Menu. Then, navigate to the footer section and there it is.
I'm always happy to help with this. Just let me know what website platform or theme you're using.
As always, feel free to reach out with any website or digital strategy related questions. We’re here to help.
Best,
Ryan Clover
P.S. One more thing…
Gmail and Yahoo are introducing new requirements in February that affect you. Let's make sure you're all set! I’m sending a more detailed email about this mid-week, but in the meantime, if you have any questions please refer to our announcement here.
